DESCRIPTION:
French, 8-day time/strike, Empire style portico 4-column in an ebonized case with gilt bronze mounts, gilt dial and pendulum mantel clock, C. 1860
CONDITION:
Ebonized case in overall good clean condition. Someone has glued a paper dial over the existing dial pan. Hands are original. Movement is dirty and will need a cleaning. The nut that attaches the bell maybe a replacement. One side of the pendulum hook is broken and will attention. The hook is readily available from clock suppliers as a repair part. Ht. 18"
